Painter and craftswoman from Sheep Hollow Cove, North Carolina. Marty has been painting impressionist florals and copying the great masters since she was fourteen — taught by her aunt, a retired art teacher in Burnsville. She also quilts, and has been working with fabric her entire life. Three years ago she started painting her favorite masterpieces directly onto tote bags. Now, after over forty years behind the easel, Marty is closing her studio for good at the end of June — this is her final collection.
